Canyon de Chelly
New Mexico

Here are a some of the views you might see as you decend the trail into Canyon De Chelly  (pronounced "shay") to visit the White House Ruin.  This is the only trail you make take down into the canyon without a Navajo guide. 

There are many overlooks into the canyon accessible from the roads along the West and North sides of canyons.  Hubble Trading Post National Historic Site is about 36 mile south of Canyon De Chelly is worth a side trip.
